Snowboarding P.O.V
Although I prefer to ski, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do! For me that was mounting up my brothers snowboard and taking it up for my first pow day of the year. During a 2 day period, Utah was pummeled by a snow storm from the south-west. 2-6 feet was deposited in an instant. Since I didn't have any skis at the time, I eagerly grabbed the 164 Jones Experience mid-wide and learned how to surf the pow. It was all time, and probably ranks up there as some of the best pow days of my life!

Row Mr. Fisherman
As I sit here and type this blog post, the temperature outside is a bone chilling -5. A stark contrast to the glorious summer weather in the video I am about to post. Ahhhhh, floating down a cool river on a hot summer day. Sounds nice eh? Enough of the summer stoke though, this is Utah and it's POWDER time! Bring it!

Here we go! Here we GO!
The first in a series of potent storms is moving eastward, slated to impact utah for the next few days. Although most of the energy will be south of the wasatch, the good news is that an active storm track in now present. Hopefully this is the start of something good. And when I say good I mean 20 feet of snow.
here is what the National Weather Service has to say:
"THE LEADING EDGE OF THE NEXT STORM SYSTEM WILL ENTER THE REGION LATE TONIGHT...AND LAST INTO TUESDAY AFTERNOON. THE POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT SNOW EXISTS...ESPECIALLY OVER CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN
UTAH WHERE UP TO 4 FEET OF SNOWFALL IN THE HIGHER TERRAIN IS POSSIBLE"
